Made in New Hampshire, Annalee plush dolls originated during the Great Depression. Annalee Thorndike took up dollmaking as a career after her family's chicken farm failed. Since then, the dolls have grown in popularity--particularly the holiday themed plushies, featuring the famous characters of Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, as well as reindeer, festive mice, bears, elves, and more. 

This Mrs. Claus doll was handmade in 1991.  She wears a green dress and white apron.
