A circa 1920s Gibbard walnut trestle dining room table with two leaves and six chairs in very good condition.

The Gibbard Company began producing fine furniture out of Napanee, Ontario in 1835. They operated until 2009. They were respected as one of Canada's finest and as the oldest furniture company in Canada.

Gibbard furniture is always a sought after name for customers who recognize the best in quality made furniture.

The table dimensions are:

Of the six chairs making this set, there is one armed ("captain's" chair) and 5 armless chairs. All have historically appropriate leather seats.

A vintage/antique Krug Bros Co. (of Chelsey, Ontario since 1886) walnut wood dining table and six chairs set in very good condition.
This set likely dates from the 1920s to the 1940s.

With medium brown leather seats on all six chairs, including a captains chair with arms.

The table includes a built in 14" butterfly leaf to expand the table. (The leaf stores within the table). A handsomely decorated skirt runs the length of the table.

The table design is definitely nicely echoed in the chairs.

This is a well made furniture set.

A stunning all wood set with presence from a historical and respected Canadian (Ontario) maker. Sturdy and ready for another lifetime of use.
