Inuit, Inuk, Handmade Doll, Fur, Leather, Vintage
A vintage hand made Inuit or Inuk Doll from Northern Canada, likely from the 1970s.
The suede leather face has hand embroidered features.
The jacket or coat is made of white fur bordered with black fur. A beige coloured fur lines the opening of the hood.
Blue canvas covers the hands. The pants are made of the same blue canvas.
Beige fur has been used to make the mukluks.
This is likely meant to depict a male figure as the jacket is short.
This doll stands about 14.5" high.
A nice example of Northern craftsmanship.
In excellent condition.
