Kaiser, White, Bisque, Figurine, Female, Nude, Seated, Pipes, Germany, Vintage
Here is a nice example of work from Germany's Kaiser porcelain factory.
This is a vintage white bisque female nude figurine, seated upon the ground and playing upon a 3 horned pipe (panpipes, flute).
The Kaiser company hallmark is clear indicated in cobalt blue upon the underside of this figurine. The hallmark refers to Alka Porzellanfabriken Alboth & Kaiser K.G. in Staffelstein which manufactured porcelain until 1970. This particular mark was used from 1970 to 1990. The company actually first was documented as a manufacturing concern in 1973 and after many changes, still manufactures today.
Additional number marks are imprinted also on the underside: a small "33" and a larger "385."
In excellent condition.
