Pendelfin Picnic Stand Model Stand with Yellow Kettle

Current stock: 0

A vintage 1965 to 1985 “Picnic Stand” model display stand for Pendelfin rabbit figurines from the Pendelfin workshop which were produced under Pendle Hill in Burnley, England.

This pretty stand features 4 separate platforms on which individual Pendelfin figurines may be displayed. A perfect setting for your Pendelfin collectibles!

In very good condition with a yellow kettle in the foreground.

There is an older original butterfly style "Pendelfin" sticker attached on the bottom side of this large figural tableau.

These fanciful anthropomorphized rabbit figurines came from the lively imaginations of artists Jeannie Todd and Jean Walmsley Heap. Production of these figurines began in the 1950s. The primary designer of these Pendelfin rabbit figurines, Jean Walmsley Heap, passed away in 2008 and the production of Pendelfin from England virtually ceased. This item is an example of work produced in England under the Pendelfin name before production of these was moved overseas.
