This product is available.

A genuine Inuit soapstone sculpture, of artisan make and hand carved from locally sourced natural soapstone from Canada's far north in 2011.

A very collectible drum singer statue from artist Pitsulak Pinguatuk from Kangiqsujuaq (sometimes also known as Wakeham Bay) in Northern Quebec (Nunavik, Nord-du-Québec).

This sculpture is well balanced, sturdy and is skillfully rendered in a medium grey stone.

The male singer stands with his drum held in his left hand, his right hand mid-strike, with his face facing skywards as he opens his mouth in song.

The signature of the artist and Inuit Art Foundation identification is carved into the bottom of the statue.

Accompanied by certified Inuit Art Foundation tag, C10-07032.

In excellent condition.
