SOLD Rare Clanger Pendelfin rabbit figurine with GREEN coat.

SOLD This is a very rare vintage Clanger rabbit figurine from Pendelfin.  Not very many were made with the rabbit wearing a green (not the usual blue or red) coat.

Made in England (marked on the underside of his coat--see the images).  Created between 1983 to 1998.

This little fellow stands about 4" high, mightily heaving a bell almost as large as he is in a great effort to ring it.

This figurine is suitable as a Christmas themed decoration.

These fanciful anthropomorphized rabbit figurines came from the lively imaginations of artists Jeannie Todd and Jean Walmsley Heap. Production of these figurines began in the 1950s. The primary designer of these Pendelfin rabbit figurines, Jean Walmsley Heap, passed away in 2008 and the production of Pendelfin from England virtually ceased. This item is an example of work produced in England under the Pendelfin name before production of these was moved overseas.
