Tyrone, Irish Dancer, Figurine, Celtic Dancer, Glass, Lead Crystal, Vintage, Ireland, Riverdance, Feis, Award, Riverdance
A clear glass (lead crystal) figurine on a round base of a female Celtic Dancer in Celtic dance attire from the Irish glassmakers, Tyrone of Dungannon, Ireland.
The signature flared skirt of the dancer's tunic and straight stance with hands at the sides are readily indicative of traditional Irish Dancing, famous throughout the world for Feis competitions, celebrations and Michael Flatley's famous Riverdance entertainment extravaganzas.
A maker's mark can be seen on the base the back of the figurine. The figurine retains the original oval gold foiled sticker label.
A perfect gift to commemorate a young dancer's participation in your local Feis event.
This lovely figurine is a lovely celebration of Irish Dance, made by Ireland's own Tyrone glass makers sometime in the 1980s. Production of the figurines occurred from the 1970s to 2010.
In excellent condition.
