A beautifully rendered depiction of St George killing the dragon.

St George is portrayed as an old fashioned and suavely mustachioed Hussar military member standing over the formerly fearsome but the now lifeless form of a spectacularly two-headed dragon.

The base bears the authentic mark of Hungary's famous Herend manufactory, likely produced some time in the mid 1900s as per the current recollections of the previous owners.
